Oregon Trail
Right, I've been working on this piece for a commission for a friend in Oregon. I love working on music pieces and would love to get more into painting old time bluegrass/rock scenes on top of my usual Irish music ones.
Here's the final video "making off":
Like all commissions, it starts with a rough sketch made from various photos references. The musicians were taken from one specific indoor scenes, while the costumes were from various gig photo references. The sky and background was from yet another two photos and the cart was done using one photo as colour reference and another one for the angle... I think that's it. ... yeah that's about it!

New board
Just finished my new toy. It's the 3rd surfboard I make from scratch and first board from the new shed. This one's 5'9 - 21 1/2 - 2 3/4. with cloth inlaid cutaway keel fins.
