From idea sketches to finished painting

This was an interesting one to work on.I used a few photos of San Sebastian and decided what should be featured in the background. One this was established I did a few quick rough sketches in order to get the composition right. I went from 3 surfers in the original idea to just one.

Eventually it's time to start layering the paint.
